BOOKING

POLICIES

All bookings with Molly Dickson Makeup are subject to a written agreement outlining the services, fees and terms specific to your booking.

Securing Your Booking

A non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your date. For bridal bookings, this is £200, or £50 where the total booking value is less than £200. For event bookings, the booking fee is 50% of the total fee unless the date requested is within four weeks of booking. In which case, payment in full will be due upfront. Your date is confirmed once the booking fee has been received.

Payments

For bridal bookings, 50% of the remaining balance is due at the bridal trial, with the final balance payable four weeks before the wedding. Where no trial is required, the remaining balance is due four weeks before the wedding.

For event bookings, the remaining balance is due four weeks before the scheduled services. Bookings made within four weeks of the service date require full payment at the time of booking.

Payment for commercial bookings will be due 30 days from date of issue of invoice unless stated otherwise.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

Booking fees are non-refundable. Rescheduling requests are considered subject to availability. Additional cancellation terms, including any further fees that may apply, are outlined in your individual booking agreement.

Additional Charges

Any additional costs, including travel, parking, accommodation, extended services or assistant fees where applicable, will be communicated in advance. Any assistant fees will be agreed in writing before the booking.

Allergies & Skin Sensitivities

Please disclose any relevant allergies or skin sensitivities before your makeup service. Patch testing can be arranged upon request. This information will be stored securely. Please see privacy policy for more information.

Photography & Portfolio Use

Photographs may be used for portfolio, website and social media purposes, as outlined in your booking agreement. If you would prefer your images to remain private, please communicate this in writing before your booking.

Your Agreement

Full terms, including provisions for artist cancellation, unforeseen circumstances and service expectations, are set out in your individual agreement. Please read this carefully before signing, as confirmation of your booking indicates acceptance of the agreed terms.
